Wine Festival Gagauz Șarap Yortusu 2018

On November 4, the city of Comrat will host the festival Wine Festival Gagauz Șarap Yortusu 2018. The event is organized by the administration of ATU Gagauzia with the support of the National Office of Vine and Wine, and under the national brand Wine of Moldova. The main goal of the event is to acquaint consumers with local producers and to make popular the quality wines of Gagauzia.

During the festival the visitors will learn more about the colorful traditions and rich history of Gagauz people. The guests will firstly taste the quality wines of the region, and secondly try traditional Gagauz cuisine.

The holiday atmosphere at Wine Festival Gagauz Șarap Yortusu 2018 will be created by several folk ensembles. Above all, visitors will be invited to participate at a national Hora Dance. It’s a show where the participants demonstarte their national garments with pride.

Wine Festival Gagauz Șarap Yortusu 2018 takes place in Comrat every year in November. The festival is, certainly, about the hospitality of Gagauz people.

The wine industry of Gagauzia has an important contribution to the winemaking of the Republic of Moldova. The guests present at this event will appreciate the true value of Moldova wine.

The Moldova wine festival, officially called “National Wine Day”, takes place in Chisinau during the first weekend in October.
