On Sunday, May 6th, you can participate at the second edition of the oeno-gastronomic festival that will take place in Ungheni. The DeVin&DeGust festival celebrates Moldova’s wine assorted with traditional dishes. Visitors will learn how to properly combine traditional food with Moldovan wines.
A good wine is determined by grape variety cultivation, but also according to the geographical area where the grapes have been baked. The taste, as well as the flavour of wines differs from one area to another. Wine producers from four regions of Moldova will present their wines at the event. This is the “Codru”, “Ștefan Vodă”, “Valul lui Traian” and “Divin” region.
The taste of a good wine becomes more intense if it is served with the right dishes. At the DeVin&DeGust festival, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the potential of wine and to take part in food tastings.
In addition, guests can attend the Gourmet theatre at the DeVin&DeGust and participate at master classes with famous chefs and sommeliers. In front of the public, chefs will prepare their culinary masterpieces, but also sommeliers will guide you to choose the best wine to complement your food. You will enjoy your food when choosing the right wine.
For little visitors, there will be organized an entertainment and recreation area, which will be styled with all necessary elements for leisure. Everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy a special cultural show.
In the same weekend will be organized the first edition of the Chestnuts Festival in Ungheni. The event is dedicated to the development of local, national and regional culture.
