A Magical Weekend at the Medieval Festival
Spend an unforgettable weekend at the Ethno-Cultural Complex Vatra where will be organized the next edition of the Medieval Festival 2018. On 23rd and 24th of June, Step away from the contemporary city and straight into the live Medieval Ages. Visitors will have opportunity to see theatrical performances with troubadours and knights, staged battles, various competitions, as well as a unique collection of weapons and medieval objects. The Medieval Festival gives visitors a rare glimpse into the everyday life and times of the 12th – 16th centuries combining medieval elements with the conditions of modern society.
The event comes with a wide artistic program where guests can enjoy good music from both the country and from abroad. Guests can visit knight camps and different workshops where they can learn about medieval armour. The festival starts at 11.00, followed by a medieval tourney and an archery show. The program will end with an exceptional night show with campfire and enchanting fire-show.
The Medieval Festival also proposes a camping area for those who want to spend a night in nature. On the territory will be an area with cottages designed in a rustic style and tents that meets all the necessary conditions.
